This project aims at harmonizing and strengthening practices of life-long learning and vocational training in order to answer the societal stakes in the cross-border area as attractiveness and competitiveness of the territory, development of exchanges, inclusion and social cohesion. Based on historical cooperation (TRANSVERSALIS2009-2013) between HEIs and according to the strategies fixed by the regional and national authorities, the project undertakes: - To bind skills and training offers: the creation of cross-border patterns has to be a tool of global integration of the training systems and supports mobility. - To take into account the evolutions of company models to develop the modalities of training (block-release training- learning - recognition of equivalent professional skills): the training offer as well as the skills recognition have to be developed in the corresponding territory, implemented thanks to the creation of common pathways for block-release training ("alternance") or co-validation of cross-border diplomas by the process of validation of non-formal and informal learning ("VAE"). - To properly guide for better training : implementation of successful tools of course choices, necessary for the success of a skill pathway acquisition. The LLL-TRANSVERSALIS project commits itself to a structured approach for a global offer of services in 6 regions (Catalonia, Occitania, Andorra, Aragon, Aquitaine and Basque Country) relying on the creation of a cross-border campus.
