This supervisory control and data acquisition project will enable the city to get real time information on our 12 sewage lift stations (throughout the city) and our one lagoon. The ability to see the operations of our system twenty four hours a day 365 days a year enables our staff to detect problems as they occur and rectify them remotely before they become a threat to the environment or our residents’ property. The project would involve the installation of hardware and fiber at all of our stations to communicate to the central computer system at our operations facility.
