Lift Station Upgrades - Bonavista

The project consists of lift station upgrades in the town of Bonavista. The scope of the project includes replacing four lift stations with more efficient pumps and control panels to meet the new flow volumes and address updated code requirements. Additionally, where possible, an above ground enclosure to house the control panel and valves will be installed. The enclosure will protect critical equipment from the saltwater environment and allow the valves to be operated without workers having to enter the lift station, which will improve worker safety. The project aims to increase the Town’s capacity to treat and manage wastewater and stormwater. Additionally, the Town of Bonavista will benefit from reduced regular repairs and servicing costs of the old lift station equipment.
