Description

The coal-fired power plant is located in Limay in the Philippines’ province of Bataan. The plant is a six-unit, three-phase coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 900 MW. All three phases will be 300MW and will comprise 2 units of 150MW each. The financing will be used for the construction of the 300MW first phase of Limay coal-fired power plant, located in the Philippines’ province of Bataan. The debt financing comprises of a single term loan with tenor of seven years. Mizuho, DBS, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Bank of Commerce, CTBC Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, Maybank, Siemens Bank and Standard Chartered provided the loan, which is priced at around 325bp. San Miguel is providing around $248 million in equity and shareholder loans. Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor. San Miguel has signed several power purchase agreements with various local electricity companies and industrial users. Equity $248.00m Debt:$400.00m
