Description
Description | Proposal to build a campus of eight two-story data center buildings with about 2.8 million square feet of space on a 191-acre property in Limerick Township, Pennsylvania. The project has faced community pushback due to concerns about noise, light pollution, environmental impacts, and preservation of rural character. The local Planning Commission recommended that the township commissioners not consider the conditional use needed for the proposal unless several conditions are met, including a closed loop cooling system, vibration analysis, and annual sound studies. |
