Description

Description

The Limiting online sexual Exploitation and Abuse Gender based on Underaged boys by Educating experts (LEAGUE) proposal addresses the further need of prevention and increased reporting of online child sexual abuse of boys aged 10-18. The planned activities under this project will contribute to enhancing the competences of the relevant organisations and authorities supporting the victims of such crime. The project will be developed into two main streams. The first one is going to consist of training programmes – international and national. There are 2 international trainings planned that will be conducted in Vienna, Austria. The participants in these events will be mainly relevant professionals – psychologists, carers, social workers, law enforcement, lawyers, prosecutors. These trainings will be followed by national ones – 4 in each partner country. The national events will target mainly teachers, parents, school psychologists and will be focused on behavioural science that will contribute to spotting signs of online child sexual abuse and how to address such matters as well as potential prevention. In addition, an overview of the most used applications and social platforms will be presented during the trainings as well in order to raise the awareness of what potential risks they carry within them for the children. The second line of activities will target the victims – boys aged between 10 and 18. In order to reach them, an Internet Platform will be created as well as a chatbot. The children from this target group will actively participate in their creation. The dissemination activities planned during the lifetime of the project and the partners’ networks will ensure the reaching out of the target groups. These activities will also guarantee high level of awareness that the project aims to achieve in order to enhance the prevention and reporting of online child sexual abuse of boys aged 10-18.
