The project includes removal of a portion of the concrete wall separating Lincoln Center from Amsterdam Avenue, addition of a recreational water feature, outdoor performance space with 2,000-person capacity, increased greenery with 50% more trees, and other public facilities such as a bus waiting area and expanded sidewalks. The design is led by Hood Design Studio, WEISS/MANFREDI, and Moody Nolan, aiming to increase accessibility and year-round use of the park. |
