Description | Viridi Energy has started construction on a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at the City of Lincoln's Bluff Road Landfill. The project will capture methane from landfill operations and convert it into pipeline-quality RNG, providing a local energy resource and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The facility is expected to be operational by Q1 2027, processing approximately 3,000 standard cubic feet per minute of landfill gas and supplying energy equivalent to the heating needs of about 12,000 homes. |
