Description | The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has issued a request for qualifications/proposal for the purchase or lease and redevelopment of a commuter parking lot at the NJ Transit rail station in Linden. The project aims to transform the space into a transit-oriented housing community with mixed-income housing, resident and commuter parking, energy-efficient design, and pedestrian connectivity for NJ Transit riders. The NJEDA purchased the property at 101 West Elizabeth Avenue from NJ Transit to create a walkable community between two active mixed-use developments near the Linden train station. |
