In January 2014, construction of two wind farms invested by a local private company Daqing Dafeng Technology Group commenced in Lindian County, Heilongjiang Province. The electricity generation capacity of the plant was 99MW. The total investment was RMB 830 million (US$ 135.10 million) and Dafeng had a 100% stake in the project. The power plant came into operation in June 2015.
