"LAP CB is a project that involves three partners: Goga Publishing, Helsinki Literary Agency, and Sandorf Publishing. The main goal of the project is to address the lack of knowledge and skills in small European languages to sell rights for their books. The project has also three Specific objectives: Capacity building for literary professionals and literary agents, setting up and publishing an online platform for selling rights and research on first prize for literary agents while addressing following call objectives: Competitiveness and innovation and Transnational creation and circulation. ""As part of the project, we will carry out various activities. We will invite literary professionals from Europe to participate in five-day residencies, during which they will share their knowledge with the local professional community through lectures. At the same time, they will also share information that will be crucial for training agents, establishing an online platform, and conducting research regarding the first literary award for literary agents in Europe. We will provide training for literary agents, who will undergo a one-year training program. This training will consist of workshops in Slovenia, Croatia, and Finland, attending literary festivals and book fairs, collecting data necessary for setting up the online platform, participating in platform development, and gathering data that will aid us in studying the literary agent award. An important component of the project will be networking among literary professionals, literary agents, and the local professional community, as this can have a long-term impact on fostering new collaborations even after the project concludes."" Type and number of persons benefiting from the project We will 3 national policy makers, 6 LA, 6 authors, 6 translators, 3 mentors, 18 visiting LPs, 3 partner organisations, between 900 – 1400 visitors of 18 lectures, at least 360 publishers via networking, estimated 5000 visitors of online platform. ""During the project implementation, we will involve various stakeholders, including: -3 national policy makers (book agencies, ministries of culture, etc.). - 6 literary agents (3 each year). -18 visiting literary professionals (3 per country per year). -3 partner organizations. - Between 900 and 1400 attendees at 18 lectures. - At least 360 publishers through networking. - An estimated 5000 visitors to the online platform. Authors and translators will also be included through the creation of promotional materials that will be part of the training and used at book fairs."" Expected results of the project are as follows: -6 trained literary agents -18 five-days residencies for literary professionals from all EACEA countries -18 lectures by visiting Literary professionals for local literary professionals and general public -Research done on Prize for literary agents -Published Online platform for selling rights of European authors At the end of the project the following outputs will be produced: - 3 Gender equality plans for each partner organisation - 18 Videos and reports on lectures of literary professionals - 78 Completed questionaries for visiting and local literary professionals regarding prize for literary agents, online platform etc. - 1 Prepared toolkit for literary agents - 6 Book proposals (each literary agent wwill prepare one book proposal for one writer - Online platform for selling rights with all the informations on literary markets in Slovenia, Croatia and Finland - Research document on prize for literary agents - Projects website will be published so we will have as much ionline visibility as possible - Toolkit for Communication, dissemination and visibility - Communication and dissemination plan - Project management and financial plan"
