Description

Description

The aim of the project is to use the SNOMED CT nomenclature in pathological test results, and thus to renew Lithuania’s membership of SNOMED International and make SNOMED CT available for healthcare related organizations (e.g. hospitals, health care providers, health research facilities, health IT providers). As well as to promote and facilitate the use of SNOMED CT in Lithuania. By integrating SNOMED CT into pathological test results, the project seeks to establish a unified and standardized terminology across healthcare organizations. This standardization will enhance communication among healthcare professionals, leading to more accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions. Providing access to SNOMED CT for healthcare organizations like hospitals and research facilities will help them embrace this standardized terminology system, improving compatibility and cooperation across the healthcare network.
