The Liupanshui Vocational and Technical College (LVTC) is a vocational school with secondary and tertiary education branches in the province of Guizhou, which specializes in the training of skilled workers in industry (coal, mining), business administration (tourism, real estate), information technology and medical care. The higher vocational school in Liupanshui is planning to expand its campus on existing land. The current teaching and training capacities are to be expanded by building a new teaching and practice building (Industry and Practice Base Building) and thus adapted to the increasing number of students. In addition, the technical equipment for several departments is to be fundamentally modernized and expanded using the subsidized loan. In addition, a wastewater treatment plant for treating wastewater to service water standards and a rainwater collection system are to be installed in order to permanently reduce the college's drinking water consumption. The expansion of the school complex also includes the construction of two student dormitories, which will be financed from the college's own resources. With the expansion of the campus, the LVTC aims to achieve the status of a Provincial Demonstrative College in accordance with the college's twelfth five-year plan. The measures mentioned are intended to help increase the college's capacity permanently from around 8,000 students (2015) to 10,000 students (2023), and to provide them with a high-quality education through adequate teaching resources and appropriate accommodation.
