Agri-food cultural heritage, one of the focuses of the Living ICH project, has been affected by the COVID pandemic in very different ways. What challenges did small producers face as keeper of this cultural heritage? What lessons have local public administrators learned? The aim of the project is to collect experiences related to the pandemic from small producers and public administrators in each of the pilot regions. Various levels of administrators from both sides of the border will be involved: mayors, municipal and regional councilors and officials; Public administrators will be invited to a one-day cross-border capacity building meeting. Each meeting will be moderated by a professional facilitator and will be organized according to the format of the knowledge café. Experts on key topics and administrators will dialogue together in order to exchange experiences, learn about different points of view and learn from each other. The information gathered in this context - needs, ideas and suggestions - will support the drafting of guidelines. The participation of local and regional administrators and officials will open a dialogue within different local bodies and ensure the implementation of the guidelines; Furthermore, drawing up guidelines in the form of an "emergency plan for the conservation and (re) vitalization of the agri-food intangible cultural heritage" will provide examples and inspire possible strategies to manage crisis situations. A professional will participate in the meetings, taking notes of the proposals made by the participants and give his support during the compilation of the guidelines.
