By bringing together French and Swiss tourism, environment and research stakeholders, we want to develop an innovative system of awareness raising and education on the environment and the sustainable development of the Jura Arch socio-ecosystem. Initiated under the Living Lab concept, our action plan is to involve citizens, researchers and cultural actors of the Jura Arch in the processes of experimenting with concerted management measures in the fields of water, natural environments, species and landscapes on a cross-border scale by enhancing the natural wealth of this territory. In parallel with its environmental perspective, the deliverables of this project will also represent a remarkable added value in view of the Swiss Confederation’s “NPR” strategy, in terms of the attractiveness of the cross-border territory.
