Description
Description | The LLM4CIP project aims to address the significant gaps in cybersecurity frameworks for essential services and critical infrastructures, as highlighted by the NIS2 Directive, by providing a transformative, AI-driven approach to cybersecurity preparedness. The envisioned LLM4CIP platform will empower end-user organisations to simulate, detect, analyse, and mitigate cyber risks with unprecedented precision and accessibility. By serving as a digital assistant for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), LLMs will enable even non-cybersecurity experts, such as system administrators, to effectively manage and resolve complex security incidents. This democratises cybersecurity capabilities, allowing a broader range of personnel to contribute to security efforts and reducing the dependency on scarce cybersecurity experts, thus lowering barriers to adopting security solutions. Furthermore, the LLM4CIP platform will enable an LLM-based risk management framework to provide users with guided, actionable insights on managing ongoing cybersecurity risks. This will also include a comprehensive suite of LLM-powered and AI/ML tools designed to significantly enhance an organisation's capabilities in detecting and responding to potential cyberattacks. By utilising LLMs' ability to process and understand complex patterns within vast datasets, the LLM4CIP platform can identify subtle indicators of security risks that might otherwise go unnoticed. This advanced detection capability allows organisations to proactively address threats in real-time, improving their overall security posture and reducing the likelihood of successful cyberattacks. |
