LNG Canada Facility Expansion and Operations

LNG Canada facility in Kitimat, British Columbia, has been operational since last year, delivering 80 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to global markets. The facility has two liquefaction trains with a production capacity of about 14 million metric tons per year. Construction work has begun near the marine terminal to expand berth capacity to accommodate more deliveries, with an expected construction period of about 10 months. The project has a total investment value of US$12.5 billion and is fed primarily by TC Energy's Coastal GasLink Pipeline.
