The project aims to supply natural gas for power generation on New Providence, replacing fuel oil and diesel to reduce emissions. Shell acquired a 40% interest in New Providence Gas Ltd. (NPG), a joint venture with Sun Oil Holdings, which will construct, own, and operate the small-scale LNG regasification terminal at Clifton Pier industrial area. Nikkiso CE&IG will supply a modular, standardized 55 MMscfd regasification system including cryogenic equipment and engineering services. |
