Description
Description | QatarEnergy has extended the force majeure on LNG cargo deliveries to Italian utility Edison, cancelling five additional LNG cargoes and extending the force majeure from early July until mid-August. Edison holds a long-term contract with QatarEnergy for the supply of 6.4 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas per year to Italy. The force majeure has impacted deliveries since April due to disruptions linked to the Iran war, affecting a total of 17 LNG cargoes scheduled for delivery to the Adriatic LNG terminal in northern Italy, representing approximately 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas. Edison has been working to replace the volumes mainly via LNG from the United States. |
