Description	Loblaw Cos. Ltd. is installing Canada's largest rooftop solar-power array at its East Gwillimbury Distribution Centre north of Toronto. The 7.5 megawatt solar array will cover about 40,400 square metres and generate 8.5 million kilowatt hours annually, providing a quarter of the power for the highly automated distribution centre. The project is expected to be completed in 2026 at a cost of more than $10 million. Toronto-based Great Circle Solar Management Corp. will build, own, and operate the project, with Loblaw purchasing the electricity under a long-term power purchase agreement.
