Logistics Center P3 project at Broward County’s Port Everglades

The project involves the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a new logistics center at the Everglades Port, a seaport in Broward County, Florida. The port is one of South Florida's foremost economic centers, as it is the gateway for both international trade and cruise vacations.PE-ILC will construct approximately 240,000 square feet of warehouse facilities with an attached 45,000 square-foot office building on 16.657 acres of Port property west of McIntosh Road. The initial ground lease term is for 30 years. The project will contain warehouse, refrigerated warehouse and office space, and cross-docking facilities, which will enhance the services available to shippers using Port Everglades. The entire logistics center will be designated as a Foreign Trade Zone.
