Long Mott Generating Station Advanced Nuclear Project

The Long Mott Generating Station is a proposed advanced nuclear power plant in Seadrift, Texas, developed by Dow's subsidiary Long Mott Energy, LLC, supported by the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program. It will provide electricity and high-temperature industrial steam to Dow's UCC Seadrift Operations, powering the production of more than 4 billion pounds of materials per year. The project features X-energy's 80 MW XE-100 high-temperature gas-cooled small modular reactor designed for minimal environmental impact.
