Description | In March 2011, a local private company Changye Group signed an agreement with the Longyan Municipal Government to build and operate the Longyan City No.2 Wastewater Treatment Plant. The 1st phase of the plant had a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day and the total investment was RMB 36 million (US$ 5.57 million). The concession term was 31 years (2 years of construction plus 29 years of operation). Changye Group had a 100% stake in the project. The plant served an adjacent industrial part and households in Yanshi Town (however the split was unknown). The plant was substantially completed according to a report dated Sep 14, 2012. At least 25% of construction had been achieved by Jun 2011. |
