L’Orignal Standpipe Rehabilitation

The project will rehabilitate the L’Orignal standpipe in Champlain, Ontario. The work will re-apply the internal and external coatings to the standpipe, address health and safety code requirements, and upgrade the fall arrest system and pumping station controls. Other activities will include construction of a rip-rap spillway, parging of the foundation and replacement of variable frequency drives on pumps. The project will fund improvements to reservoirs, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the safety and durability of the water storage infrastructure.
