Lotte Aluminum Materials USA LLC plans to construct an aluminum rolling mill on a 40-acre site at the T.J. Patterson Industrial Park in Elizabethtown. Project scope includes construction of building space and equipment foundations; installation of four slitter machines, two roll grinders, a scrap aluminum baler, air scrubbers, heat exchangers and six rolling mills with storage tanks, process vessels, capture hoods, and oil recovery and spraying equipment. The facility will have the capacity to produce 39,690 tons of aluminum coil per year for use as cathodes in electronic vehicle batteries.
