"LOUD & CLEAR: is a transnational project, which includes 3 European countries (Slovenia, Estonia and Portugal) that aims to strengthen the democratic participation of young people, especially those who are considered NEETs, living in rural areas, or coming from marginalized backgrounds. Across Europe, many young people feel disconnected from political life, seeing institutions as distant and unresponsive to their needs. This project addresses that gap by using non-formal education, creative methods, and youth-led activities to make democratic engagement more accessible, meaningful, and relevant. The project will deliver a series of activities: local Bootcamps; an international Hackathon where youth co-create civic tools and campaigns; national LOUD & CLEAR Festivals promoting artistic civic expression; a cross-border Digital Exchange campaign (""Your Topic, My Response"") where young people respond to each other’s questions through media formats they choose themselves; and a final online event, DEMO-CONNECT, where the co-created Youth Manifesto will be presented to policymakers. Throughout the project, strong emphasis will be placed on inclusion, gender equality, and non-discrimination, ensuring that all young people, regardless of their background, can participate and contribute equally. LOUD & CLEAR is fully aligned with the core values of the European Union. The project will involve over 300 young participants directly and reach an estimated digital audience of more than 20,000 people, helping to build lasting European connections and encouraging a new generation of engaged and empowered citizens."
