Description | Air Products is developing the world’s largest low-carbon energy complex in Louisiana to produce over 750 million standard cubic feet per day of low-carbon hydrogen, capturing 95% of CO2 generated. Yara would acquire ammonia production, storage, and shipping facilities after performance targets are met, assuming operations and integrating ammonia output into its global network. Air Products will supply approximately 80% of the hydrogen to Yara under a 25-year offtake agreement to produce 2.8 million tonnes of low-carbon ammonia annually. The project includes CO2 sequestration by a third party. |
