The extension moves the shipment deadline from May 2026 to the end of 2029, when the first LNG is expected from the terminal. Woodside Energy acquired Louisiana LNG, formerly Driftwood LNG, by purchasing Tellurian in 2024 for US$1.2 billion. The facility has long-term offtake contracts with Germany's Uniper and US pipeline operator Williams. |
