Description | Ucore Rare Metals and Vulcan Elements have executed a Memorandum of Understanding to build a domestic rare earth magnet supply chain for defense and commercial applications. Ucore will supply NdPr and Dy oxides to Vulcan starting in 2027. Ucore's Louisiana Strategic Metals Complex will feed Vulcan's North Carolina manufacturing facilities, which is expanding to a 10,000 tonne magnet manufacturing facility enabled by a $1.4 billion partnership with the U.S. Government. |
