Description | The proposed project in Carroll County will reconstruct a new bridge along Lovvorn Mill Road over Big Indian Creek with a new 202.5-ft long bridge. The proposed bridge will replace the existing bridge in a similar footprint with two 12-foot travel lanes and 3-foot shoulders in both directions. Due to the increased depth of the superstructure, the profile of the proposed bridge will be raised 1.17’ higher than the existing bridge elevation, thereby increasing the slope tie-downs and requiring additional ROW that will expand it to 104-feet at the bridge location. The project construction begins approximately 230-feet north of the proposed bridge and ends approximately 240-feet to the south, with an overall length of approximately 670-feet. |
