Low-Carbon Hydrogen and Ammonia Supply Infrastructure Development

JERA Co., Inc. has been certified as a Supplier of Low-Carbon Hydrogen and its Derivatives under Japan's Support for the Development of Hubs scheme by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This certification enables JERA to receive support for developing infrastructure necessary to supply low-carbon ammonia, including truck loading facilities, contributing to hydrogen and ammonia utilization in the Chubu region. The project includes supplying low-carbon ammonia produced at the Blue Point Project in Louisiana, USA, for use at the Hekinan Thermal Power Station and other customers in the Chubu region.
