Low-tech Direct Water Reuse Demonstration Project

A research and demonstration project to treat and directly reuse wastewater at the Manger Care Centre in Benoni, Gauteng. The project separates and captures used water including grey water from showers, kitchens, and laundries, as well as black water from toilets, aiming to reuse the water on site for nonpotable applications to support the centre's operations. The project generates data for scientists at Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Stellenbosch University.
