LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension and O&M PPP project

The  LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension project includes the operation and maintenance of the entire line for a 32-year concession period, and the construction of an 11.7km southward extension from the Baclaran station to Bacoor, linking Metro Manila to the Cavite region.Additionally, a total of eight new stations will be developed with three intermodal facilities across Pasay City, Paranaque City, Las Pinas City and Cavite. The eight new stations are Aseana, MIA, Asia World, Ninoy Aquino, Dr Santos, Las Piñas, Zapote and Niog. The intermodal facilities will be located at Dr Santos, Zapote, and Niog. 10.5 kilometers will be elevated and 1.2 kilometers will be at-grade.The private partner will undertake the design, construction, and financing of the Cavite Extension as well as the operation and maintenance of the integrated system upon completion of the project. The concessionaire will also undertake future system maintenance and upgrades as well as permitted commercial development.
