Lt. Gov. Sheila Y. Oliver Plaza

completed

The Lt. Gov. Sheila Y. Oliver Plaza is a newly opened plaza outside Atlantic City City Hall, named in honor of New Jersey’s late lieutenant governor. The project includes enhanced security and safety features, environmentally responsible renewable energy concepts, a covered walkway, security gate, improved lighting, reconfigured entrance doors, aesthetic improvements such as benches, a rain garden, marble fountain, pergola, and landscaping. The project also involved repaving and redesigning City Hall’s main parking lot with a parking attendant booth and plans to add six electric vehicle stations.
