Description | The Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway is a 63-kilometre expressway connecting the cities of Lucknow and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, India. It reduces travel time between the two cities from 2.5-3 hours to just 35-45 minutes. The expressway is a six-lane corridor designed for future expansion to eight lanes and replaces a busy segment of NH-27. It includes a significant three-expressway interchange and nearly 30% of it is constructed as an elevated corridor to enhance traffic flow. The project used 3D Automated Machine Guidance technology during construction and aims to improve connectivity between two important industrial and administrative centers in Uttar Pradesh. |
