Description | The project entails the construction of Lucky Electric Coal Power Project, 660 MW coal power plant. The SPV is Lucky Electric Power Company Limited. The project company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lucky Cement Limited. Private Power & Infrastructure Board signed the financial close for the government and awarded the 30 years PPA. Total cost of the project is 1080 million with a Debt:Equity ratio of 75:25. The sponsor provided the equity while the debt is secured by Habib Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, National Bank of Pakistan, Bank Alfalah Limited, Askari Bank Limited Soneri Bank Limited, The Bank of Punjab, Meezan Bank Limited, Faysal Bank Limited and Dubai Islamic Bank Limited. Financial close took place on June 25, 2018.
