Description | The source entity is proposed to be set up in the semi-urban areas of Lugari sub county, Kakamega County, 42 kilometers from Kakamega town. There is already 6 Ha of land and administartaive offices constructed at the site for the potential investor to construct, equip and operationalize the project. The project is proposed in the mentioned area due to easy access to the raw materials (maize) which is grown in large scale in the areas of Lugari, Malava, Navakholo,Likuyani and the neighbouring counties of Trans Nzoia(Kitale) and Uasin Ngishu (Eldoret). The success of the project is also pegged on its nearness to the market. The site is close to Kakamega town and other neighboring towns in other counties like Kitale, Eldoret, Webuye, Bungoma and Busia that would serve as ready market for the output from the factory. This will also reduce the transportation cost |
