Description

Description

The Lumina Metals Poland copper silver project is a large-scale mining project centered on the Nowa Sól deposit in southwestern Poland. It features a Measured and Indicated resource of 604 million tonnes grading 1.24% copper and 38 grams per tonne silver, containing approximately 10 million metric tonnes of copper and over one billion ounces of silver. The project benefits from established infrastructure including rail access, power grid connectivity, water supply, and proximity to the Głogów smelter, which operates below capacity and is located about 20 kilometres from the deposit. Lumina Metals has signed a Letter of Intent with KGHM Polska Miedź for copper concentrate supply to the smelter. The project aims for a mine life of 25 to 30 years with projected annual production of 290,000 to 300,000 tonnes of copper and 28 to 30 million ounces of silver. Key administrative milestones, including the mining licence decision, are expected around 2030.
