Luswishi Farm Project

The Agro Luswishi Zambia Limited has the aim of developing a commercial farm, small scale commercially orientated family farms, and regional centers giving advanced agricultural services. Despite this, the product will also provide a community settlement, a poultry unit, a logistics center and a training Centre which will support the farm's requirements. It is also envisioned that when completed, this project will produce 75,000 tons of fresh agricultural produce, 25 million eggs and 6,500 tons of livestock feed annually in additional to the 20 private Farms and 450 Family Farms which will produce 35,000 tons of diverse agricultural products. In turn, this project will create jobs, increased access to improved agricultural practices and inputs, access to agricultural markets, food security and local development. To achieve this, the project will be done in 3 phases with phase 1 and 2 costing approximately USD 50 million. Phase 3 will be financed through the recapitalization of earnings from phase 1 and 2. The total investment capital required for this project to operate under full capacity is USD 50 Million. A strategic equity partner(s) is required to contribute 50% of the operationalization cost and supply skilled labour and farming inputs. This Project is located within Mushingashi Ward in Lufwanyama District, Copperbelt Province.
