The expansion will increase the annual production capacity by 20 crore garments, making it one of Asia's largest garment manufacturing plants. The project will expand the existing 8 lakh sq ft facility by an additional 12 lakh sq ft, raising the total campus size to 20 lakh sq ft and increasing annual production capacity from 12 crore to 32 crore pieces. It is expected to generate 3,000 direct and 6,000 indirect jobs and strengthen the textile and apparel manufacturing ecosystem in West Bengal. |
