"PAN CINEMA is honoured to present a slate of 3 live-action and 1 animation feature films reflecting the company's core objectives: building a family of authors made of diverse profiles, developing new international collaborations, and exploring new genres. In this regard, we are glad to include four distinct projects by authors coming from a variety of backgrounds, whom we're proud to be leading into new production horizons. ""Luxleaks"", the fifth feature film by director Hélène Angel and the first investigative film produced by PAN CINEMA. Based on real events and recounting the journey of the whistleblower that led to the European financial scandal of Luxleaks in 2014, the project will essentially be a Franco-Luxembourg co-production between PAN CINEMA and BIDIBUL. ""Une minute de silence"", the upcoming feature film by director Jean-Jacques Annaud, based on a screenplay by Pierre Godeau and starring Vincent Cassel in the lead role. This project aims to be an international event film, telling the true story filled with trauma and resilience of the police chief who led the assault on the Bataclan on November 13, 2015. Its financing will rely on a tripartite coproduction involving France, Belgium, and Canada. ""Lucky Luke"" is the second animation film produced by PAN and the first directed by Bernard Campan, who will co-direct with Célestine Plays. The script is written by Antoine Schoumsky and Bernard Campan based on the comic series by Morris. This project, coproduced by France, Belgium, and Germany, aims to appeal to family audiences by immersing the famous cowboy in an adventure that tackles themes of ecology and social justice in the face of progress. ""Rendez-nous la lumière"", Vanessa Filho's third feature and her first genre film. Following her previous movie, ""Consent"", the director continues to dive into the theme of violence against women, this time using fantasy to enhance the story and emotions. The project will be co-produced between France and Belgium."
