M-37 Rebuild Project in Caledonia Township and Village

The Michigan Department of Transportation is rebuilding 3 miles of M-37 (Broadmoor Ave.) in Caledonia Township and the village of Caledonia. The project involves widening the roadway to a four-lane boulevard with Michigan Lefts, installing new traffic signals and intersection improvements at 92nd, 84th, and 76th streets, as well as at the 84th St./Cherry Valley Ave. intersection. It also includes improvements to nonmotorized trails and connectivity with a new multiuse path along the west side of M-37 at 84th St. The project started on March 1, 2026, and is estimated to be completed by mid-September 2027. Traffic will be disrupted with lane closures and shifts through mid-November 2026.
