Madagascar - Technical Assistance to the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP) for the Costing of the National Development Plan (NDP)

The proposed project aims at assisting the Government of Madagascar in the finalization of the remaining stages of the National Development Plan (NDP), namely, the elaboration of a NDP accessible to all (also called NDP Light), the publication of this light NDP in Malagasy and English versions, and the preparation of a Communication Plan for its wide dissemination among the population. The Project will thus support the Ministry of Economy and Planning in the execution of the following services (i) The design of a light version (30 pages maximum) of the NDP in French and Malagasy on the basis of the draft prepared by the MEP; (ii) The translation of the light NDP into English; (iii) The reproduction of the different versions (French, Malagasy and English) of the light NDP (i.e. 2,000 copies in Malagasy, 1,500 copies in French and 500 copies in English); (iv) The design of the tools and a communication plan on the light NDP It is financed from the resources of the Grant under Pillar III of the TAF for an amount of Thirty-four thousand one hundred and forty-seven Units of Accounts (34147 UA) or 49 692 USD, initially intended for the costing of the NDP.
