The ownership was transferred to Philippine National Oil Co. and Energy Development Co (PNOC-EDC). Steam was provided by PNOC-EDC. Equity participation of $80 million was provided by CalEnergy (45%), Peter Kiewit Sons (45%) and Marubeni Corp. (10%). Debt financing was provided by term loans of $240 million by Bank of America, USEXIM, and OPIC. OPIC and a consortium of lenders also provided construction debt financing, with Bank of America as lead arranger. In October 2007, Calenergy turnover the Malitbog Geothermal Power to PNOC-EDC which at that time was 60% owned by the government. The plant was turnover after the BOT contract expired. None None |
