Maharashtra Industrial Worker Emergency Medical Response and Hand Transplant Pilot Project

planned

The Maharashtra government has directed officials to prepare urgent measures to ensure quicker medical response and hand transplant surgeries for industrial workers who suffer serious workplace accidents. The pilot project will initially be implemented in industrial establishments in Pune to help injured workers, especially those who lose limbs, return to normal life through timely treatment and advanced surgery. The plan includes setting up a dedicated helpline for emergency support and improving coordination between industrial units and medical experts for rapid transport to specialized hospitals.
