Description | MAHASAT is a student-led CubeSat initiative by BITS Pilani Dubai Campus (BPDC) in collaboration with Edutech4Space. The project involves designing, building, and eventually launching a 1U CubeSat entirely led by students. The team has completed the Engineering Model phase, which is a working prototype to test the CubeSat's systems before building the final flight version. The satellite includes subsystems such as On-Board Computer, Electrical Power System, battery, antenna deployment system, solar panels, and Attitude Determination and Control System. The project is now moving into Phase-4, involving environmental testing, software development, and preparation of the final flight model. |
