Mahisagar River Parallel Bridge Construction

Following the collapse of the 40-year-old Mahisagar river bridge near Gambhira village, the Gujarat government approved the construction of a parallel two-lane, high-level bridge near Mujpur connecting Vadodara and Anand districts. The project includes expanding the existing two-lane approach road to four lanes and widening it to seven meters, along with expanding a 4.2 km stretch from the highway to the bridge to four lanes. The government sanctioned ₹212 crore for the project and aims to complete it within 18 months, with the tendering process initiated.
