Description | Project consists of upgrading the water distribution system and providing a sanitary sewage collection system along a portion of Main Street in the Town of Eastport. The scope of the project includes the replacement of the remaining existing 50 mm diameter water main with a 200 mm diameter water main and the provision of a public sanitary sewer collection system. The project aims to increase the reliability of the water system as well as implementation of fire protection measures by providing fire flow capacity, and eliminate the presence of untreated sanitary sewer being as a potential contaminant of ground water resources by diverting waste water to the dedicated wastewater treatment plant. |
