Description | The project entails the development of the 142KM Makassar-Parepare railway line in South Sulawesi province, Indonesia. It is part of the railway network on Sulawesi Island, connecting Makassar in the south to Parepare in the north. Sponsors of the project are Indonesian state-owned Pembangunan Perumahan (45% ownership), Bumi Karsa (22.5%), China Communications Construction Engineering Indonesia, a subsidiary of CCCC (22.5%) and Iroda Mitra – 10% . They provide an equity amount of $ 20.84 million. Bank Syariah Indonesia provides a debt for the amount of MLA Indonesia Infrastructure Finance IDR 229,999.90m (USD 16.12m) State Lender Sarana Multi Infrastruktur IDR 245,489.99m (USD 17.21m) The deal closed on June 7th, 2021, with Indonesia Infrastructure Guarantee Fund acting as the deal guarantor. https://ijglobal.com/data/transaction/56160/makassar-parepare-railway-line-142km |
