Description | Makerere University has launched the construction of a five-storey Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) Building to boost digital learning and skills development in Uganda and Africa. The building will house the ODeL Centre at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) and is part of the ODeL Master Plan for an inclusive, technology-driven approach to learning. The project is funded by a US$12.2 million grant from the Government of South Korea via KOICA and aims to deliver a 4,000-square-metre hub supporting open and distance e-learning across disciplines. |
